Scaling and Polishing
The importance of oral hygiene is of paramount importance in eliminating gum diseases. A 36-year-old male patient came to our hospital for swollen gums. On oral examination, there was ample of tartar in his teeth. So complete oral prophylaxis was advised. A thorough scaling and polishing was done and patient was advised chlorhexidine mouth rinse for 2 weeks and a gum astringent. Potassium nitrate and sodium Fluoride toothpaste was also recommended to control sensitivity.
Fixed Orthodontic retainers
17-year-old female patient came to our hospital after taking Orthodontic treatment. She came for routine dental checkup and fixed orthodontic retainer was advised both in upper and lower arch to prevent crowding during eruption of third molars.
Pulp vitality testing
54-year-old male patient came to our hospital with the pain in lower left back tooth region. Patient was having severe pain but unable to locate the tooth. Pulp vitality testing was done using electric pulp tester. The tooth in question were 34, 35, 36 and 37. With pulp testing Dr. Dilmohit Singh was able to able to locate tooth 35 and 36. RCT was planned in both the teeth.
Routine extractions and charity
56-year-old female patient came to our Texla Dental Hospital with a chief complain of pain in lower left back tooth. Extraction of 37 was advised as it was grossly carious. Patient was poor and unable to afford the treatment so extraction of the tooth was done free of cost. Patient was happy after the treatment.
Dental extraction and charity
47-year-old male patient reported to our hospital with a chief complain of pain in lower left back tooth. On examination, RCT was advised to the patient. Patient was poor and not willing for RCT. So, the extraction of the patient was done with proper consent free of cost keeping in mind his financial situation.
Extraction of a child patient
9 years old female patient reported to our clinic with a chief complain of pain in lower left back tooth. On examination 84 was mobile due to eruption of tooth 24. Extraction of 84 was done in this case.
Teeth whitening
31 years old male patient came to our hospital with the chief complain of staining and desires whitening of teeth. Complete oral prophylaxis was done. Polishing was done and dental bleaching was done from premolar-to-premolar region. Patient compared the preoperative and postoperative results and was very happy to see them.
Prosthetic rehabilitation of Implant case
49 years old male patient came to us for the crowns. Implants were doe 3 months back. Closed tray impression was made. Cement retained crowns were made and access hole was kept for easy access of screw in future, if arises. Crowns were cemented onto the abutments.
Gingivectomy
48 years old female patient came to our hospital with the chief complain of various decayed teeth. RCT was performed in various teeth and gingivectomy was done using electrocautery unit for crown lengthening.
Routine case of Root canal treatment
53 years old male patient reported to our hospital with a chief complain of pain in upper left back tooth. On examination tooth 25 was decayed and approaching the pulp. RCT was planned and completed on the same day using rotary files. It was done in a single sitting.
